The famous Going-to-the-Sun Road is truly one of the top 3 most beautiful roads in the country. Every turn is sweeping and epic. I'm so glad my husband was the driver not only is it a little bit of a white-knuckle drive (especially in a big truck) but its impossible to keep your eyes on the road. The view depicted in this painting is one of the famous tunnels that was constructed in the 1920s and is an engineering marvel as well as a gateway to a breath-taking vista.
