I grew up in Juneau, Alaska where many a tourist has taken a bus to see this ever changing wonder. This is my 'home' glacier and I haven't just photographed it but I have skated to it over a frozen lake, hiked underneath into the magical glacial caves and driven a dog sled over the surface. We are old friends. Maybe she is a friend of yours, too?
